Rosalia Vila is also referred to as Rosalia, is an Spanish singer of flamenco. Since she was a teenager Rosalia has explored the outskirts of pop and traditional music. Her voice is called by no less of a talent than flamenco guitarist Pepe Habichuela as sharp and sweet and with a bite that is similar to those of the past. Her debut album Los Angeles garnered attention from the U.S. public and earned her a Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist the follow-up album for 2018 El Mal Querer was a huge commercial and critical hit making it to the top of the Billboard Latin Pop Albums chart and finally winning a Grammy. La Fama featuring Weeknd debuted in 2021. It was her third studio album. Motomami featured songwriting collaborations with a variety of producers and artists including Cory Henry and James Blake. The set began to be released in conjunction with Saturday Night Live's show Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia was the first Spanish artist to perform on her own in the show. Motomami Rosala was also the recipient of three Latin Grammy Awards and the Latin Album of the Year award twice, she was the first female to receive both awards.
